Half a million more SMEs hit by auto-enrolment than expected

The Pension Regulator is predicting that 1.8m small and micro businesses will have auto-enrolment duties – an increase of 500,000 on its previous estimate. HMRC warns of tax credit email scam

HMRC has warned that fraudsters are increasingly targeting tax credit claimants in the run-up to the 31 July tax credit renewals deadline.
