Beware of property investment scams!

3rd October, 2017

Property investment scams are on the rise and often target potential investors who are vulnerable and seeking advice. Nottingham accountants, Clayton & Brewill explains more about how to avoid being caught out.Beware of property investment scams

Property investment scams often come in the form of master classes, seminars or training programmes, which potential investors pay to attend. These events promise to provide all the secrets to becoming a wealthy property investor.

Companies involved in the scams, often lure people in with special offers and money-back guarantees. However, potential investors who attend an initial ‘taster ‘event, often find that they are then pressured into signing up for further events and programmes, often at high prices. Along with added extras, such as VIP Packages and Forums, all which come at a cost.

If you’re considering attending a property investment event, which isn’t free of charge, it’s important that you find out as much information as you can and ensure you are not being scammed.
