A new reporting requirement for payroll managers

As an established employer you will be aware of the new reporting burden that has been created by the Real Time Information initiative, or RTI for short. Each time you pay your employees you now need to submit PAYE information to HMRC, rather than just once a year at payroll year end.

RTI represents one of the biggest changes to payroll processes in decades and it has had a big impact on payroll teams, particularly in businesses with weekly or fortnightly payrolls.  Since RTI came into force in April 2013 we’ve helped many SMEs to get to grips with these new reporting requirements and ensure compliance with HMRC.
