The Clayton & Brewill Summer update is now available to view online.

Summer is now on our doorsteps, and what a strange few months it’s been since our Spring update! After what seems like an eternity spent on lockdown, and following a very busy period of remote working, Clayton & Brewill is pleased to announce that our office has now reopened. We are maintaining social distancing measures to ensure we keep our team as safe as possible.

Our Summer update contains advice and articles for both business owners and individuals, including:

• The latest changes to the CJRS scheme. From 1 July 2020, businesses can bring furloughed workers back on a part-time basis.
• Guidance on self-employed support measures. Self-employed individuals looking to apply for the SEISS should note that the deadline for claiming under the first round is 13 July 2020.
• Details of the delay to the introduction of reverse charge VAT on construction services and advice on how to prepare for when the charge does come into force.
• Further information on how refunds for missed VAT deferral payments can now be claimed.
