Clayton & Brewill are delighted to have raised £300 for local charity Forever Stars.
Clayton & Brewill raised the money for Forever Stars through a charity raffle – at one of their events – and by collecting donations from clients and contacts throughout 2016.
The Forever Stars charity, was set-up in 2013 by Richard and Michelle Daniels after their daughter Emily was stillborn. The initial aim of the charity was to raise funding for a specialist bereavement suite for families affected by stillbirth, at Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre, where staff cared for them when Emily was born. The new centre was opened in 2016.
The charity has continued to fundraise to provide further support for the new suite to purchase additional equipment and supplies, as well as fund the development of other suites across Nottingham and the East Midlands.
The fundraising, formed part of Clayton & Brewill’s 2016 programme of fundraising activities to mark its 70th anniversary. At the beginning of 2016 the firm pledged to raise thousands for local charities as part of its anniversary celebrations.
