On Sunday 24th September, some of the Clayton & Brewill team took on the Nottingham Post Corporate Challenge at the Ikano Robin Hood Marathon event. We share a round-up and some photo’s from the event.
Emma Hunt, Julie Braithwaite and Michele Skelton all ran the mini marathon and were delighted to complete the whole run without stopping to walk – well done ladies!
Charlotte Purnell, Lisa Smith, Doug Perry, Jemma Taylor-Smith and Josh Smithurst took on the half marathon. The weather was hotter than expected and, this, coupled with the hilly route, made conditions tough. However, everyone managed to cross the finish line and receive their well-deserved medal.
Meanwhile, outside of the Corporate Challenge, Hayley Purdy ran the full marathon and finished in an impressive 4 hours and 52 mins!
The team had a great day and, so far, have raised over £700 for local charity, Ben’s Den.
